Pairing and Connectivity

How do I pair my Apple Watch or iPhone with a Dropshot Scoreboard?

  1. Ensure your Dropshot Scoreboard is powered on and in pairing mode.
  2. On the Dropshot app, tap "Connect to Scoreboard."
  3. Select your scoreboard from the list of available devices.
  4. Connection happens automatically — no need to enter a code.

Can I pair multiple watches together?

Yes!

If two players both have the Dropshot app installed on their Apple Watches, both can connect to each other so each can see the score updated in real-time.

Only one watch actively controls the score. So there isn't any confusion over who updated the score last.

How do I pair with another player’s watch?

Both players should open the Dropshot app on their Apple Watch.

Tap the "Pair" button on the home screen

The host selects the other players that should receive score updates and then starts the game as normal

What happens if I disconnect mid-game?

If you disconnect because you got out of range of the other player or scoreboard, then when you get back in range, you will be automatically be reconnected.

MVP Mode

What is MVP Mode?

MVP Mode allows you to track who hit the last shot of a rally.

When turned on:

  • After a rally ends, tap the player who made the final hit.
  • Dropshot uses this to calculate advanced stats:
    Rally Win %
    Error %

Is MVP Mode required?

No. It's completely optional.

If you skip this step, Dropshot will still record scores normally.
