Dropshot Court Feed Terms
Version 1 · October 28, 2026
These terms cover the Dropshot court feed: the game events your club's scoreboards send to your own system. Read them, then accept them at the bottom of the page.
These terms are between Scorewise, LLC, doing business as Dropshot ("we"), and the club named when they're accepted below ("you"). They cover the Dropshot court feed for the scoreboards on your courts.
1. What the feed is. We send game events from your Dropshot scoreboards to the URL you give us, in the format described in the Court Feed spec (v1).
2. How you can use it. You can use the feed for your club's own operations and services. That includes displays at your courts, your website and apps, member stats and leagues, and video replays and highlights for your players. You can have service providers run your systems for you.
3. What you won't do, unless we agree in writing:
- sell, license or hand the feed data to another company for its own use;
- use the feed, or let anyone else use it, to build or train automated scoring, line-calling or other analytics products, or a competing scoreboard;
- access the scoreboards or our systems other than through the feed, for example by reverse-engineering their wireless or cloud connections;
- share your feed URL key or signing secret outside your club and your service providers.
4. Your players. The scoreboards don't send player names. If your system links scores to players, you're responsible for telling your players and for following the privacy laws that apply to you.
5. What we do with the data. We keep a copy of the feed data to run, support and improve Dropshot. We may use it in combined form that doesn't identify your club. We won't sell your club's feed data, and we won't share it with other companies except service providers that run our systems for us, or when the law requires it.
6. Price and changes.
- The feed is included at no charge for the scoreboards on your order.
- If that ever changes, we'll give you at least 90 days' notice.
- We only add fields to v1. Anything that would break your system gets a new version, and we tell you first.
7. No guarantees.
- The feed is provided as it is. Latency and uptime aren't guaranteed, and events can arrive late or be missed when a scoreboard is off Wi-Fi.
- To the extent the law allows, we're not liable for missed or late events, or for what your system does with them.
- Our total liability for the feed is limited to what you paid us for the scoreboards.
8. Ending it.
- Either of us can stop the feed at any time.
- We can pause it if a key is misused or these terms are broken.
- Data you've already received stays yours to use under section 2.
9. Agreeing. Accepting these terms below, on behalf of your club, means your club agrees to them. These terms are governed by the laws of Wyoming, where Scorewise, LLC is registered.
Thanks, the terms are accepted.
We'll turn on your club's feed and let you know when it's live.
